What would you use rather than soap?

If you love to use soap well the bad thing is that Romans don’t use soap. But there actually is another solution romans will pour oil all over their bodies. Then when it’s hard they scrape it off with a cupped scrapper that is called a “strigil”.If you wanted to know why they don’t use soap well they think that soap does make dirt that stuck to the natural oils on the human body but oil does work very good as well. But the good thing is that some of the oils were mainly scented, so it was a bonus because it will act like a deodorant. But everything does have a bad side because the “strigil” was mainly cupped. So when you scrape the oil off then you must capture it then put it in a jar for another use for someone else.

in the public they have public toilets and they are described as a bench with a hole and under it, it has a drain and there is a ditch or a gutter That is nearby running water. But the downside is that you must clean your business, then you can clean yourself last.

But if you are living in a city house or a country villa well you are in luck because you will have private baths and a private toilet, and luckily you can be the only people that can buy pipes to have water for your baths and toilets.
